One-Stop Federal Compliance Web Site for Business

When the site is re-launched in October, Business.gov will search for compliance news, information and federal forms from nearly 100 government web sites, and compile government compliance contact information from throughout the federal government. Originally launched in 2004, the site currently contains information on starting, managing, growing and exiting a business.

        The average small business owner spends $7,647 per employee staying in compliance with government regulations, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy. Business.gov will help businesses stay in compliance and stay in business with a one-stop place for compliance information from federal agencies ranging from the Environmental Protection Agency to the Department of Labor.
