Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing and Toyota Material Handling U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) along with the Arbor Day Foundation and Columbus Parks and Recreation planted 100 trees at two local Columbus parks.
This is part of Toyota's environmental initiatives. The company has also committed to the Arbor Day Foundation that they will plant a tree for every lift truck sold this year, which is estimated to result in an additional 30,000 trees being planted in early 2009.
