LAS VEGAS (PRNewswire) — Goodfella's Brick Oven Pizza, representing Staten Island, New York, took first prize Friday at the world's biggest international pizza contest. The International Pizza Expo of Las Vegas (sponsored by Pizza Today Magazine) started its 3-day long international pizza contest. With over 10,000 attendees and pizza makes from all over the globe (making it the world's biggest pizza and most prestigious pizza contest), the competition was fierce.
The winners of the gourmet pizza contest were from Goodfella's Brick Oven Pizza of 1718 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, New York, bringing home their 3rd International World Championship title and $10,000 in prize money respectively.
