ST. LOUIS (AP) — The most senior Anheuser-Busch veteran at Anheuser-Busch InBev is stepping down.

Dave Peacock, who ran the U.S. operations of the combined company after Belgium-based InBev bought St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch three years ago, will step down. The news, first reported by Ad Age, was confirmed by the company. It's the latest sign that InBev is in the driver's seat of the combined company.

Peacock's responsibilities will be taken over by his boss, Luiz Edmond, an InBev veteran who oversees the North American zone for the company. Peacock will stay on in an advisory role, according to a memo sent by Edmond.
