AMARILLO, Texas (AP) — A former Tyson Foods meatpacker has been indicted for allegedly breaking a saw blade into four pieces and poking them into some beef. Authorities say the Sept. 30 incident was isolated, and no recalls have been issued. Twenty-year-old Nwee Lah of Amarillo is accused of picking up a saw blade from the floor of the plant near Amarillo and breaking it into pieces as he worked on the production line.

Twenty-year-old Nwee Lah of Amarillo is accused of picking up a saw blade from the floor of the plant near Amarillo and breaking it into pieces as he worked on the production line.

Potter County Chief Deputy Roger Short tells the Amarillo Globe-News that a co-worker saw the alleged incident and notified management.

Lah's attorney, Mike Watkins, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he could not comment on the case.
