The American Bakers Association’s (ABA) Executive Leadership Development Committee (ELDC) and the Society of Bakery Women (SBW) today announced that Pat Callaghan, president of Pepperidge Farm Inc., will serve as a panelist at the “ELDC & SBW Baking Industry Leadership Forum,” to be held during the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) on Sept. 28, from 5:00 – 6:45 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Leadership Forum is a ticketed event.
“ELDC is extremely fortunate to have universally recognized and respected baking industry Callaghan participating on our Leadership Forum,” said ELDC Chairman Joe Marx, D. Associates. “As president of Pepperidge Farm Inc., with over 30 years experience, Pat valuable insight and guidance gleaned from his experiences in a variety of sales and marketing He will share his expertise in strategic vision and execution as well as focused leadership with attendees.”
Mr. Callaghan joined the Pepperidge Farm sales team in 1979. Since then, he has held increasingly responsible sales and marketing positions including Senior Vice President Senior Vice President - Strategic Business Development and Senior Vice President and Manager - Meals and Accompaniments. Mr. Callaghan is a past chairman of the American Association and is a current member of the ABA Board of Directors and a founding board the Grain Foods Foundation. Mr. Callaghan, joined by other baking industry leaders to be announced, will discuss core needed by effective leaders; the importance of peer groups like ELDC and SBW to foster executives; the value of involvement in ABA to achieve industry success and build valuable as well as, provide seasoned insight on the outlook of the baking industry's future.
