BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota food and agriculture companies have until Saturday to apply to a program that helps small Midwest suppliers promote their brand name products overseas.

The Branded Program is sponsored by the state Agriculture Department and the nonprofit Food Export Midwest association with funding help from the Foreign Agriculture Service.

North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says eligible program participants get help with as much as half of the cost of foreign marketing and promotional efforts, ranging from in-store promotions to trade show attendance.
