McConnellsburg, Pa. — East-coast facility managers will get a chance to see JLG Industries’ LiftPod portable aerial work platform up close and in action this summer, and have the opportunity to enter in a LiftPod giveaway contest. JLG Industries Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE: OSK] and a leader in the access equipment industry, today announced a three-vehicle demonstration tour featuring LiftPod, the first-of-its-kind personal and portable lift available in the United States.

“The LiftPod tour is an exciting opportunity for JLG to bring this one-of-a-kind product directly to its users,” said Randy Marzicola, JLG Industries’ director channel development. “Seeing the LiftPod in action really magnifies its capabilities. Not only is it affordable and safer than ladders, the LiftPod can actually help workers get their jobs completed faster. People who see a demonstration will really be able to grasp that.”

JLG representatives will take the three LiftPod vans to various locations to answer questions about the product’s many features and provide hands-on demonstrations. In addition to seeing the LiftPod in action, attendees will be able to enter into a drawing for a free LiftPod.

The tour is scheduled to stop in 10 states during the next three months. In July, the LiftPod tour will visit Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island. Maryland and Pennsylvania are added to the list in August, before the tour ends in September with stops in Virginia.
