LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — A Chicago-based prepackaged food manufacturer is recalling sandwiches distributed to Race Trac gas stations in Georgia because of a possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Flying Food Group Inc. announced Saturday that the potentially deadly bacteria could be items produced by its Lawrenceville, Ga., plant. The company says no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
Production at the Lawrenceville facility has been suspended pending an investigation.
The recall includes: the Chicken Quarter Pounder, the Chicken Quarter Pounder with Tomatoes, the Ham Quarter Pounder, the Ham Quarter Pounder with Tomatoes and the American Sub. All have an expiration date of Nov. 30, 2011.
Customers who bought those items can receive a full refund.
