The unpasteurized milk, extracted from cows that very morning, will make it to consumers within hours. Claravale Farm is one of California’s two existing raw milk dairies. Despite increased demand from consumers, five states have adopted stricter standards to regulate unprocessed milk in the past three years, according to the Raw Milk Survey released in July.
