EAST HANOVER, N.J. (AP) — Oreo is triple-stacking its newest cookie.
Kraft Foods Inc. on Wednesday rolled out the "Triple Double Oreo," a conglomeration of three cookie wafers, one white frosting layer, and one chocolate frosting layer.
The newest addition to 99-year-old brand joins products including Oreo brownies, Oreos covered in white fudge and Oreo pie crust.
Kraft plans to promote the cookie with athletic endorsers including basketball's Shaquille O'Neal, speed skater Apolo Ohno, tennis player Venus Williams and football player Eli Manning. The company has used the athletes, which it dubs the "Double Stuf Racing League," since 2008 to promote its cookies.
