Jones Soda CFO Resigns

NEW YORK (AP) — Beverage company Jones Soda Co. said Monday that Chief Financial Officer Michael O'Brien has resigned in order to work for a privately held coffee company. Jones Soda said it is currently searching for a replacement to fill the CFO role. O'Brien will help with the transition period for two weeks.

Jones Soda said it is currently searching for a replacement to fill the CFO role. O'Brien will help with the transition period for two weeks. It didn't identify the coffee company that O'Brien plans to join.

Jones Soda, based in Seattle, makes drinks including Jones Soda and Jones Pure Cane Soda.

In June the company said it was relocating its headquarters from Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood to a bigger office space in the city's Pioneer Square historical district.

Its shares closed at 87 cents on Friday.
