Kraft Heinz this week announced plans to introduce a new line of food products in collaboration with Oprah Winfrey.

The joint venture between the food giant and media magnate, called Mealtime Stories LLC, aims to "make real, nutritious products more accessible to everyone." The partnership will initially market ready-to-eat refrigerated products.

Kraft Heinz said that development, production and marketing would begin in the U.S., and that 10 percent of profits would go to charities that combat hunger. Additional details will be announced later this year.

The company reportedly hopes that Winfrey’s involvement will bolster its packaged foods, a segment that struggled as consumers increasingly turn to products perceived to be healthier.
