AMES, Iowa (AP) _ Renewable Energy Group Inc. (REGI) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $34.8 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Ames, Iowa-based company said it had a loss of 90 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 6 cents per share.
The biodiesel producer posted revenue of $535.1 million in the period.
Renewable Energy Group shares have increased 31 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 30 percent in the last 12 months.
