AMES, Iowa (AP) _ Renewable Energy Group Inc. (REGI) on Thursday reported a first-quarter loss of $15.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Ames, Iowa-based company said it had a loss of 41 cents per share.
The biodiesel producer posted revenue of $418.9 million in the period.
Renewable Energy Group shares have increased roughly 5 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased nearly 6 percent in the last 12 months.
