MIDLAND, Texas (AP) — Clayton Williams Energy Inc. has sold some wells and leases in Texas for $71 million.
The Midland-based oil and gas company on Friday announced it closed the sale on select holdings in Wilson, Brazos (BRAZ'-uhs), La Salle, Frio and Robertson counties.
A statement from Clayton Williams Energy says the properties are outside the company's core block of Austin Chalk and Eagle Ford Shale acres.
Details were not immediately released on the purchasers.
