STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) — A Minnesota-based glass fabrication company is planning to add more than 100 new jobs when it expands a plant in eastern Georgia.
Gov. Nathan Deal said Tuesday that Viracon is planning to invest $2 million in the expansion of its plant in Statesboro, Georgia and will create 125 new jobs.
Officials say the company produces high-performance architectural glass for major construction projects throughout the country in its existing 330,000 square-foot facility. Officials say the expansion is expected to help the company meet expected growth in demand.
Officials say Viracon also operates plants in Utah and in Brazil.
