Cartridge Filter

The media used in new DuraShield cartridge filters is a proprietary high-strength, polyester-reinforced material with a fluorocarbon melt-blown outer-surface layer that makes possible a high-efficiency minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) of 15.

The media used in new DuraShield cartridge filters is a proprietary high-strength, polyester-reinforced material with a fluorocarbon melt-blown outer-surface layer that makes possible a high-efficiency minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) of 15. Synthetic fibers used throughout the media will not disintegrate, unlike some surface-bonded media, and can withstand the rigors of repeated pulse cleaning cycles.

Editor's Note:

The surface-loading media achieves optimum particulate release during pulse cleaning.
