Solenoid Valve

This all-purpose PTFE-bellows solenoid valve eliminates the leaking of fugitive emissions to the atmosphere. It can be used with virtually all types of fluids including acids, caustics, solvents, and chlorine solutions as well as ultra-pure liquids. The distinguishing feature of the valve is its PTFE-bellows barrier-type dynamic seal, which replaces the elastomer packing of conventional valves. The bellows flex to provide bubble-tight sealing of hazardous fluids, and since PTFE is not subject to chemical attack, the design has a normal working life of more than 2,000,000 cycles.
