Pittsburgh Paints has announced its 2007-08 color trends, which the company says bring together elements from nature, as well as from South American and traditional Japanese cultures, to create colors that respond to our need for connection, energy, and escape. The new color trends feature four palettes: Bloom, Blue Notes, Helios, and Space. Bloom is inspired by the spring season and includes plum purple, sage green, tangerine orange, and rose mauve. Summer is reflected in Blue Notes with its indigo blue, gray, and purple blue. Helios suggests autumn with shades of deep red clay and cream, and Space is inspired by the winter season with its sepia taupe, white, and pink.
