A new series of seals — more than 50 — have been engineered primarily for use in syringe pumps and the columns of HPLC systems in medical and food and beverage applications. The seals promise smooth, leak-free passage of liquids from the pump into the columns of the systems. HPLC systems are used to pump various fluids into columns where they are analyzed by a detector. The detector identifies trace elements found in the samples.
