Feeding System

Company designed a feeding system for metering a dry powder resin that is used as the binding agent for wood chips and liquid wax in the manufacture of oriented strand board (OSB). The system included a Mechatron loss in weight feeder, hoist and trolley, iris valve, access door for a bag spout, storage vessel, bin activator, refill gate and an eductor/blower package. By supplying the entire feeding system, the company was able to customize the process, which effectively led to meeting the customers needs for maintaining proper dust control levels.
