A reactor is the pulsating heart of any chemical process, whether in industry or in the laboratory. Although it might be surrounded by other equipment such as separators and filters, the reactor is the key element where reactions happen. Thus, engineers study them closely, often using modeling techniques and computer simulations. "Introduction to the COMSOL Reaction Engineering Lab" is a CD developed to show how to access modeling techniques easily in order to accelerate the analysis of real-world reaction applications.
