Met-Pro Corp.'s Systems Division in Harleysville, PA, has received an order valued in excess of $1.7 million to modify an existing thermal oxidizer at an ethanol manufacturing facility in the Midwest. The modifications will improve the reliability and energy consumption of the thermal oxidizer, which removes volatile organic compounds and carbon monoxide from 34,000 standard cubic feet per minute of exhaust while providing steam for plant operations. "This project is another example of Systems Division's strong presence in the ethanol manufacturing marketplace and reinforces their reputation as a supplier of choice for field-proven multi-discipline solutions to tough air pollution control problems," said Raymond J. De Hont, chairman and CEO.
