Vane/piston flowmeters are preconfigured for specific chemicals and corrosive fluids, eliminating the need for compatibility charts. These variable area meters are designed to monitor flows of nearly 90 chemicals, corrosive liquids, acids, caustics and other fluids. The meters provide local indication of flow rate and respond immediately if flow goes too low. Alarm switches for notification of flow failure and a transmitter for remote readout and data logging are available. They are easy to install, operate and maintain, and feature plastic housings and wetted metal internal parts.
