This Ramp Valve is a specialized slide gate with a stainless steel blade that moves up a ramp to allow closure at the end of the cylinder stroke. The seals do not rub against the blade during movement, so a “bubble tight” seal can be achieved. Buna-N is the seal material chosen to give a tight and long-lasting seal impervious to hexane vapors.
