Photoelectric Sensors

The compact O5 Series photoelectric sensor measures 70mm x 18mm x 47mm and offers long sensing ranges. The line includes a background suppression unit with a sensing range of 1.8 meters, a polarized retro-reflextive model with a sensing range of 7 meters, and a thru-beam pair that reaches up to 20 meters. The O5 photoelectrics are 3-wire sensors that are directly compatible with bus systems and I/O blocks. The high-precision background suppression sensor is designed for inspection and error-proofing applications. The unit features a two push-button Teach operation that quickly establishes light-on/dark-on programming. The microprocessor provides automatic calibration and can differentiate between the target and the background with minimal distance between the two.
