The AS-I Smartlink Profibus DP Gateway has a reduced housing depth of 57mm and therefore uses smaller enclosures. It is ready for operation upon connection to the AS-I system and provides diagnosis and operation status via an integrated LED display. The gateway also features an enhanced menu structure that displays full menu titles and diagnostic information such as AS-I master configuration, control/status of digital I/Os, indication of analog values, and fault messages to assist in troubleshooting the system.
