Organic Potash Corporation (CNSX: GOP) ("OPC" or the "Corporation") announced today an update regarding its operations in Ghana.

Sales and Distribution

As stated in OPC's May 17th 2012 press release, SGS has independently verified the quality of the potassium carbonate that OPC submitted for analysis as being 99.4% in purity. No arsenic or heavy metals were present in the sample OPC provided, which represents an industry and global first as OPC's sample did not need to go through a secondary expensive chemically and electrolytically induced process in order to achieve 99% purity. OPC is in negotiations with potential customers, and with chemical brokers to assist in facilitating sales and distribution throughout North America and Europe.

Manufacturing and Production

OPC continues to advance its K2 processing plant into commercial production. The Corporation is targeting to have 116 metric tonnes of potassium carbonate ready for sale by the end the third quarter of 2012.

Supply Chain Network

OPC has made substantial progress on expanding its organic material supply chain. Currently, the Corporation has over 130 ashing units in the fields, and it is anticipated that approximately 400 ashing units will be in place by the end of August 2012. OPC has retained a training company to work with the farmer's, onsite in the fields, to maximize safety, increase efficiency and optimize production of the ashing units. Management has travelled to remote cocoa production areas, and has established relationships with chief farmers and agents for supply chain stability and expansion.

Key Personnel Additions

OPC has retained the following personnel to assist and enhance its operations in Ghana:

Mr. Robert Ellis as Chief Operating Officer of GC Resources. Mr. Ellis has extensive experience in setting-up and managing supply chain distribution & logistics networks in many different industries. Mr. Ellis has been assigned to manage, develop, expand and increase the efficiency of OPC's current supply chain network.
