Co-located manufacturing events to showcase the latest technology and innovation
Sept 18, 2012 Toronto, ON The Advanced Manufacturing Expo (AmExpo), AmCon Design & Contract Manufacturing Expo and Shop Insights Conference will unite more than a thousand manufacturing professionals for an all-inclusive event on September 25-26 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
These co-located events cater to a range of industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, Nanotechnology, Materials Manufacturing, Food Processing, Information Technology, Medical Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology. A single registration includes access to all three events.
AmExpos Opening Keynote Speaker Derek Kuhn, vice president of Sales and Marketing at QNX Software Systems, will address Driving Innovation through Software. To illustrate the points in his presentation, the company will showcase a Jeep Wrangler reference vehicle, which has been modified with the QNX CAR" application platform.
AmCon will present "Power of Persuasion" by Robert Cialdini, who has spent his career systematically studying the psychology of influence. Shop Insights will bring together numerous industry leaders in aerospace and automotive, focusing on fabricating and machining processes.
Public Works and Government Services Canada will provide an overview of the Canadian Innovation Commercialization Program (CICP), a $40 million initiative to promote Canadas economic growth. Event attendees will be informed of the programs objectives, benefits, and how manufacturing professionals can participate
Manufacturing professionals can walk the show floor for a tangible one-on-one experience with suppliers and contract manufacturers. The entire event will host more than 80 booths showcasing the latest products and services in manufacturing including more than 20 complimentary educational sessions.
AmExpo/AmCon show hours are Tuesday September 25, 10:00 am to 5:00pm, Wednesday, September 26, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
