“Roche Continents” at the Salzburg Festival brings together young talent in arts and science

Roche supports concert series “Salzburg contemporary” at the Festival

Within the scope of the study workshop “Roche Continents” Roche invites for the sixth time 100 students from all across Europe to the Salzburg Festival. They will discover the role of innovation in arts and science during a varied program of workshops and discussions with experts.

Franz B. Humer, Chairman of the Board of Roche, said: “The impulse for new ideas comes when different worlds collide with each other. This holds true for innovation in business, as it does for art and culture. Supporting the exchange between young talents in science and art is just as embedded in the Roche DNA as is our commitment to culture.”

The concert series Salzburg contemporary with works of contemporary artists is an integral part of the program. The series is also financially supported by Roche, allowing subsidized admission prices.

Helga Rabl-Stadler, President of the Salzburg Festival, added: “It is wonderful to have a sponsor who continues to be inspired by new ideas in the arts. Roche supports projects that have and open outcome. Roche and the Festival know that risk is the forebear of success.”
