Cabot increases its dividend by 2 cents

Cabot Corp. announced Friday that it is increasing its quarterly dividend by 11 percent.

The Boston-based chemical and specialty products maker said it will pay 20 cents per share on June 15 to shareholders of record as of June 1. That's up from its most recent dividend of 18 cents per share.

Cabot shares fell 17 cents to close at $41.87.
