Modular Poly Power Units round off the Siemens portfolio for silicon manufacture

A modular power supply solution for the manufacture of polysilicon is presented by the Siemens Industry Automation Division. The design of the Poly Power Units (PPU) features extremely good cooling properties and has low space requirements. The Poly Power Units can be integrated precisely in production plants thanks to flexible software parameter assignment, and this also permits subsequent optimization of the process.
