Dickinson-based SolarBee was selected with other manufactures from around the country to take part in an event at the White House.
SBI manufactures machines to improve water quality through solar energy.
Co-founder and president Joel Bleth will participate in the event at the White House on Friday.
In a news release, Bleth says SolarBee could not have been created without a loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development.
