About 150 jobs are expected to be created in suburban Philadelphia as a biofuels company moves its headquarters from Georgia.

Gov. Tom Corbett helped welcome the company, Renmatix, to King of Prussia at a ceremony Tuesday.

Renmatix is working to turn biomass products such as wood and waste into fuel.

Officials say the move will create about 150 jobs over three years at the company's headquarters and research center.

The company had been based in Kennesaw, Ga.

Corbett says the move — along with the development of the Marcellus Shale and wind and solar projects — shows Pennsylvania is becoming a center of energy development.
