Cleaning, food safety and pest-control services company Ecolab Inc. said Monday that it bought Esoform, an Italian company that makes products used in personal care and for fighting infections.
Ecolab said Esoform is based outside of Venice and has about $12 million in annual revenue. It said the deal will help expand its global health care business.
Shares of Ecolab fell 61 cents to close Monday at $55.23. They were unchanged after hours.
