LONDON—U.S. electricals retailer Best Buy Co. Monday said it is buying out its joint-venture partner in its North American mobile business for £838 million ($1.34 billion) in cash and winding down its 'Big Box' megastore format in Europe, as it shakes up its strategy amid a slump at electronics stores.
