NEW YORK (AP) -- Swiss manufacturer Tyco International Ltd. said Thursday it agreed to acquire Israeli electronic security systems maker Visonic Ltd. for about $100 million in cash.
The deal amounts to a price of about $2.26 per share and is expected to close later this year.
Tyco said the acquisition strengthens its wireless product and technology portfolio in the intrusion security market.
