Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride Coming to Historic Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts
Warriors to be Welcomed by Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Local cycling enthusiasts and Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) supporters are invited to register to join injured service men and women for a 60 mile rehabilitative bicycling ride through some of Massachusetts's best biking county. As wounded warriors from the current conflicts benefit from the physical rehabilitation and are honored by local supporters, the public is encouraged to register to ride along, get to know the riders and thank them for their service.
On September 3, the participating warriors will be welcomed to the Boston Area by the Red Sox during a special ceremony at Fenway Park. The official ride kicks-off the following day, September 4, from Minuteman National Historic Park in Concord, MA, the birthplace of the American Revolution.

Soldier Ride is a program of the Wounded Warrior Project that provides adaptive cycling opportunities across the country for wounded warriors. Soldier Ride is designed to restore the physical and emotional well-being of our newest generation of wounded warriors. All participants with a disability or missing a limb or limbs are provided the adaptive equipment customized to their individual needs.

By invitation of the Boston Red Sox and Overstock.com, which also provides Red Sox game tickets to WWP, warriors will be welcomed to the Boston area at Fenway Park. There they will have the honor of riding their bikes from centerfield to home plate at the beginning of the Boston Red Sox's game with the Chicago White Sox.
