Helmsley Trust Funds Diabetes Information Exchange Project

The Jaeb Center will build an information exchange for type 1 diabetics patients, their clinicians and researchers funded by a $26 million grant from the Helmsley Charitable Trust.

The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust has awarded a $26 million grant to Jaeb Center for the creation of a Type 1 diabetes information exchange. Jaeb Center, based in Tampa, is a freestanding non-profit coordinating center for multi-center clinical trials and epidemiology research projects primarily involving eye disorders or diabetes.
