Miranda Technologies Inc. (TSX: MT), a worldwide provider of infrastructure, playout and monitoring systems for the broadcast and cable/satellite/IPTV industries, today announced that it has completed key phases of its integration with recently acquired OmniBus Systems, the IT-based automated playout specialist.

"Overall, the integration process has been exceptionally smooth, reflecting the widespread understanding of the logic and benefits behind the acquisition among our employees and customers," said Strath Goodship, Miranda's President and Chief Executive Officer.

"As part of the integration to date, our management team now includes multiple former OmniBus employees in key leadership roles, and the integration of our playout solutions is already well advanced, especially with respect to enhanced graphics and monitoring capabilities."

Some of the key changes in the new organization include the appointment of Ian Fletcher to the position of Chief Technology Officer - Workflow and Playout. Formerly CTO at OmniBus, Mr. Fletcher will now be responsible for development of the iTX automated playout system, as well as the graphics range.

Mike Oldham, previously CEO at OmniBus, is now General Manager - Playout Automation, Americas at Miranda. He will oversee Miranda's new Denver office, and will also play a key role in major account management.

In Europe, Greg Hoskin will perform a similar role as General Manager Playout Automation, EMEA, based in the Loughborough, UK office. He will also lead Miranda's European sales engineering team. He was formerly Executive Vice-President, Sales & Marketing - EMEA & APAC, at OmniBus.
