BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Italy has sufficient gas to supply companies and households, despite unrest in its gas supplier Libya, the European Commission said on Tuesday.
"At the moment there is no problem of gas supply in general to Italy," energy spokeswoman Marlene Holzner told reporters.
"There's a lot of gas on the market," she added. "There is enough gas to supply to households and also to companies in case there would be an interruption of gas."
