Electricity for cement - Siemens to equip new substation for Austrian cement plant

Lafarge Zementwerke GmbH has awarded Siemens an order to supply state-of-the-art electrical equipment for the new substation of its cement plant in Mannersdorf, Austria. Siemens will be responsible for the planning, engineering, delivery and installation of the electrical equipment. This project has a total value of around three million euros, and is scheduled to be completed by the spring of 2012.
