Core Molding Plant Announced for KY

Plastics molding company Core Molding Technologies Inc. is establishing a new subsidiary, Core Specialty Composites LLC, which will manage a new manufacturing facility in Warsaw, Ky.

The plant is expected to create 39 new jobs and will initially produce large-scale, fiber-reinforced composite parts.

The company has operations in Ohio, South Carolina and Mexico. It plans to begin hiring in September, and production is to start early next year.

Gov. Steve Beshear's office said the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has preliminarily approved parent company Core Composites Cincinnati for tax incentives up to $900,000.
