Cubic Transportation Systems, Inc., the transportation business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) and a leading global provider of advanced payment systems and services, today announced that it has been awarded a Schedule 70 - Information Technology (IT) services supply contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the procurement arm of the federal government.

The five-year GSA Schedule 70 contract allows federal agencies worldwide to contract more easily with Cubic for IT software and professional services. GSA is the federal government agency that sets policy for procurement by federal agencies and screens applicants for GSA listing through a rigorous and lengthy review process.

Federal agencies and state and local agencies that participate in the GSA program now contract for Cubic's IT services through Information Technology Schedule 70. Cubic is listed in Category 132-51, Information Technology Professional Services, and is GSA contract number GS-35F-0545W.
