Kureha Corp. is preparing to begin production at its new specialty plastics plant in Belle.

Plant Manager Tom Provost tells the Charleston Daily Mail that production is expected to begin in April.

The $100 million plant will make a polyester resin for plastic soft drink bottles, fishing line and food containers. It's expected to have 56 workers.
