EU carbon dragged down by financial markets

LONDON (Reuters) - European carbon emissions futures were lower on Monday, dragged down as world stocks fell and the euro hit four-year lows against the dollar.

LONDON (Reuters) - European carbon emissions futures were lower on Monday, dragged down as world stocks fell and the euro hit four-year lows against the dollar.

EU Allowances for December delivery were 17 cents or 1.11 percent lower at 15.17 euros a tonne at 1313 GMT, with volume at 5,316 lots traded.

Certified emissions reductions (CEREZc1> were down 15 cents or 1.19 percent at 12.47 euros a tonne, setting the EUA-CER spread at 2.65 euros.
