Tropical storm Frank forms off Mexico's Pacific coast

Winds from Frank reached 45 mph as it moved to the west along the southwestern coast of Mexico about 175 miles southeast from the popular surfing resort of Puerto Escondido, the center said on its website.

Frank was expected to turn to the west-northwest and move parallel to the cost of southern Mexico through Tuesday.
