COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark's Vestas, the world's biggest wind turbine maker, posted a surprise second-quarter loss on Wednesday and cut its 2010 earnings outlook due to delayed orders as the credit crisis lingered.

Vestas said it downgraded because expected deliveries to the United States, Spain and Germany would take place so late in 2010 that they would not be booked as income this year.
