Koppers Holdings Inc. said Friday it has named Leroy Ball vice president and chief financial officer, effective Sept. 1.
Ball, who has served as chief financial officer of Calgon Carbon Corp. since 2002, replaces Brian McCurrie. McCurrie was appointed vice president of global carbon materials and chemicals on May 1 and has also been serving as acting chief financial officer since then.
Koppers Holdings, based in Pittsburgh, produces carbon compounds and treated wood products.
The company's shares fell 95 cents, or 4 percent, to close at $22.53, adding 31 cents to $22.84 after hours.
